Memorial Arena

The City of Roseau owns and operates the 1,000 seat artificial ice Memorial Arena. Memorial Arena was erected in 1949 and its wood frame arch structure provides glimpse back into the rich history of hockey in Northern Minnesota.


Memorial Arena has witnessed some of Minnesota's greatest hockey players including current and former Olympic and NHL stars as well as playing host to 7 State High School Championship Teams, 34 State Tournament Teams and the Stanley Cup.



The North Rink

Adjacent to Memorial Arena is the Roseau Youth Hockey Association's North Rink. The North Rink provides a second artificial ice rink and is operated under a joint agreement between the City of Roseau and the Roseau Youth Hockey Association. The North Rink provides an artificial ice rink, 14 locker rooms, scoreboards, heated/non-heated spectator viewing areas and dryland training area with shooting lanes, stick handling stations, weight training, skating treadmill and plyometric training stations.


Both arenas are available to the community for youth and high school hockey programs as well as public skating.

RAMS SPORTS CENTER

Roseau Public School's Ram's Sports Center is home to the Lady Ram's High School Hockey and girls youth hockey programs. The City of Roseau, Roseau Youth Hockey, and the Roseau School District maintain a joint agreement on the operation of the Ram's Sports Center for the betterment of the community for public skating and youth hockey activities.
