Team Manager Application & Process
Thank you for volunteering your time as a Team Manager!
The team manager plays an important role on any hockey team. They are the coordinator, communicator, organizer and all-around support for the team. The most important part of this role is being the liaison between the coaches and the parents and communication is key between all parties. The team manager also helps the coaches with the administration functions of off-ice activities, tournaments and general team needs. This allows the coaches to focus on preparing and running practices and games.

Team Manager REGISTRATION PROCESS
USA HOCKEY REGISTRATION
You will need a new USA Hockey number each year.
PRINT and SAVE your USA Hockey number. You'll need it for additional steps in the registration process.

MN HOCKEY BACKGROUND SCREENING
Background screenings are valid for 2 years.
If you completed a background check in 2023-2024, it is valid for the 2024-2025 season.

SAFESPORT TRAINING
SafeSport Core Training and Refresher Training are each valid for one (1) calendar year.
Please note: You must complete SafeSport EVERY YEAR.
The first time you take SafeSport, register for SafeSport Core Training Course.
Once you have completed the SafeSport Core Training Course, there will be a Refresher Course for individuals who need to recertify. Users completing the SafeSport Refresher Course will be certified for an additional season.
